The hotshoe on top of an X1T is rumored to actually be a slave in Group A. The Godox X1T also doesn't have a full passthrough TTL-hotshoe on top, which is what's required for this to work. The trick of sandwiching a TTL/HSS trigger between a manual Godox transmitter and the camera to get HSS with an AD360 or AD360II only works if the trigger you sandwich can communicate HSS in the camera system (e.g., Cactus V6 for Pentax, Yongnuo YN-622C for Canon, etc). I had both of my dedicated Photography computers fail in the last few weeks, hence the new laptop but it looks like if my old everyday clunker XP machine fails then I am SOL.First off, if you're using the Godox X1 triggers, there is no Pentax version of these, so you can't get TTL/HSS using them. So I am at a loss as to what is going on. I would make sure that the G1 software would connect to the device on the XP machine and then go over to the laptop with the device and cable where I would get connection failure, when I told the software to connect. A little bit of time wasted there but I was able to load the firmware on all the rest of my devices, with my XP machine, no matter which order I hooked up the device or opened the G1 software. Of course it was the first one I was trying to update and it left me bewildered why my XP machine was not recognizing it. I did figure out that one of the TT685's I was trying to update has a bad USB port because it will not work on either my new laptop or my XP desk top. I even uninstalled the antivirus software, that came with the computer, as that is usually an issue I've had on other computers and still no go. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the G1 software as well as went into the G1 files and reinstalled the USB drivers, all with no luck even though I am getting confirmation that the software and drivers have down loaded successfully. I have tried everything to get this laptop to work with the G1 software and recognize the attached device. I just did numerous Phottix firmware updates a couple of nights ago and had no issues. Well do not feel alone as I am having issues with trying to update Godox firmware on my new Windows 10 Lenovo Laptop.
